Legacy 365 — 2026A shoe rooted in the Harlem Renaissance, designed to feel like it belongs right now. As the graphic designer on Nike's Legacy 365 Air Max SUNDR, I led graphics, print, and logo application for the model, using Aaron Douglas’s work as the conceptual spine. His mastery of layered geometric form translated into the halftone print on the upper, his plant and vegetation imagery shaped the mudguard graphics, and the oxidized purple of original Crisis magazine issues set the entire colorway. Limited to 365 pairs, one for every day of the year, the result is a product that carries a specific cultural reference without wearing it literally.
